What the Customer Wanted

When our Warwick dealership, MCG Sheds, wasapproached by their new client, Ms. Anderson, she had a very interesting kind of shed in mind. Something big, practical, adaptable, tough – and good looking. With masses of room to accommodate her vehicles, workspace, hobbies and anything else she might decide to get involved with down the line. And it needed to be smartly laid out, with loads of storage space, lots of light and good airflow. Plus, it had to match and complement her existing buildings.

How the Dealership Helped

The project was meticulously managed from start to finish. After Ms. Anderson gave MCG Sheds the go-ahead, work on initial designs was started, and a site inspection was undertaken to get a feel for the space and landscape where the shed would be situated. From here, building approval was requested and granted, and all required trades – including earthworks, concreting and plumbing – were coordinated.

What was Delivered

The Big G, with stylish extras. MCG Sheds worked closely with Ms. Anderson on the layout and functionality, figuring out the ideal roller door configuration, adding skylightsand insulation, and making sure the finish was just right.

In addition to the new shed, a 20m x 4m skillion awning was constructed off her adjacent existing shed. Accessorising the Big G with a custom awning gave Ms. Anderson extra working and living space that not only suits her aesthetic, but is also as tough as nails, ready to withstand our notoriously changeable weather conditions – and whatever her future plans have in store for it.

Challenges That Were Overcome

In this instance, things ran pretty smoothly from start to finish (which is not always the case!). Ms. Anderson had a very clear view of what she wanted, the land to beworked on was flat and easily accessible – and the local earthworks, concrete and plumbing crew were their usual legendary selves.
